We need to stand up as a team to support grandmothers in the countries who play a big role of caring total orphans in the families after their sons and daughters dies and lives behind many children with the grandmothers.

If we do help grandmother, we shall automatically reduce street kids in urban areas in the world. Believe in me dear friends.

URICT- Uganda with our limited materials we do tried to support grandmothers and their orphan.

URICT Uganda in partnership with WorldGranny have started helping Grandmothers and their orphaned to starting fishing themselves through doing Income Generating Projects.

We give them free Goats , Pigs, vegetable and fruit tree Seeds, Birds, Garden tools and equipment for income generating and nutrition.

Started Economic empowerment through provision of agriculture incentives to grandmothers in rural/village areas of Uganda.

Grand mothers can be empowered to become active members within their households and communities so that their can provide basic needs to their orphaned.

Basing on our findings from Kamuli District it was discovered that in Uganda grandmothers have traditional skills and knowledge, which they can use to contribute to initiatives in their households and communities. Sometimes grandmothers, manage to produce a substantial harvest, which can be enough for home and commercial consumption. But such mothers always have low access to available markets and lack agriculture incentives to boost their produce.

We gave out to many grandmothers and their orphaned free small lamp Solar lights even though many grandmothers don’t have houses to sleep in with their grand orphaned children.
